I received a letter from a concerned Branch Chairman recently. He described his Chapter as large, numbering 500–600 members, but expressed his discouragement over the lack of participation in Branch activities in spite of such high numbers. He went on to describe some activities the Branch had scheduled; they sounded interesting and enjoyable, yet student response was poor. I sympathize with this Chairman. His is a problem that is also plaguing other Branches.
