Editorial: Oracles of electrical progress

Whenever I begin to think of the year 1984, I am reminded of George Orwell´s novel 1984, which gives a futuristic view of life in that year, as the author envisioned it when writing the novel in 1948. Using hindsight; it is extremely interesting to analyze which of his predictions became reality and to compare how they evolved figuratively within the literature and historically within our society.
