Abstract
In this work the issues of frequency estimation of a harmonic signal mixed with additive white Gaussian noise and bipolar chaotic impulse interference by the method of maximum likelihood were reviewed. Estimates obtained by both likelihood functions that taking into account and excluding the interference parameters were analyzed. The influence of fluctuation of parameters of the signal and noise on the accuracy of estimation was investigated as well.
