Abstract
An efficient trigonometric-series representation is proposed for the solution to the Helmholtz equation in the region bounded by a convex polygon. The development is obtained using the domain-product technique. The approach enables the use of the unit in the capacity of a flexible key-block in the theory of irregular waveguide structures
