Abstract :
US product-liability laws are a major concern for many exporters. Seen from a UK perspective, certain US laws can seem draconian both in terms of the events for which manufacturers are held liable and the compensation awarded. This article explains what liability exporters to the USA face and how to minimise the risks involved.
