Abstract :
Why do we have student activities in the IEEE? It is because the IEEE leadership recognizes where the future practitioners of the electrical engineering profession, and the future strength of the Institute, will come from. The well-being of the electrical engineering community and the quality of its contribution to society depend on the preparation of the graduates entering the field. The IEEE contributes to that preparation through student activities.
