Abstract :
The performance of uncertainty-set-based robust adaptive beamformers is greatly dependent on the bound of the uncertainty set. Presented is an automatic setting of the bound based on the minimum distance between the presumed steering vector and the signal subspace. The proposed scheme can virtually provide the same performance as the beamformer with the optimum bound.
