Abstract :
A photonic integrated-optic RF phase shifter for harmonic downconversion in phased array antenna beam-forming applications is presented. The subsystem consists of two integrated optic Mach-Zehnder interferometers fed with a combined signal from the receiving antenna and the local oscillator. This device achieves both phase shifting and harmonic downconversion of incoming RF signals
