Abstract :
SSCS members like chapter events but often don´t participate. Respondents to a 2002 survey of SSCS members rated the quality of presentations and the educational opportunities of chapter events as very satisfactory or satisfactory, by 9 to 1. The professional networking, meeting times, and locales were rated satisfactory or very satisfactory by better than three to one. However, more than two-thirds of the survey respondents didn´t know enough about chapter events to answer questions about the program.
