Abstract :
A full wave finite element method is presented for the analysis of slot-coupled irregular shape microstrip antennas. The approach is a combination of the equivalent principle and the reciprocity theorem, and uses the spectral domain Green´s functions in a comment solution for the unknown finite element currents. Results for the rectangular patch antenna are compared with measurements.
