Abstract :
Two new normal equations relating the coefficients of an (almost) periodic FIR system and the time-varying third-order cumulants of the system output are derived, from which two new linear algebraic algorithms are presented for parameter estimation. Simulation results show that the new algorithms perform better than the recently published linear closed-form algorithms
