New broadband branchline coupler

A broadband 3 dB/90 degrees branchline coupler in microstrip techniques is presented. The circuit shows input matching and isolation better than -29 dB, a power imbalance of less than 0.1 dB and a maximum phase deviation of +or-0.1 degrees from the ideal value of 90 degrees over a bandwidth of 38%.
