Timothy Dickson Wins the first annual VLSI circuits symposium best student paper award

Timothy O. Dickson, the recipient of the first annual VLSI Circuits Symposium Best Student Paper Award for “A 2.5-V 40-Gb/s Decision Circuit Using SiGe BiCMOS Logic,” was presented with a monetary gift and a certificate by Dr. Bruce Gieseke, the 2004 Program Chair (photo, left), and was honored as a special guest at the opening session of the 2005 meeting in Kyoto, Japan last June, when his award was announced.
