Abstract :
An improvement of UTD diffraction coefficient for the case of a lossy dielectric wedge when a transmitted ray exists is presented. Two new terms are elaborated which are added in the classical UTD diffraction coefficient, so that the continuity of the total field is obtained. The result is compared with a numerical method based on FDTD
