Abstract :
Each year I have the opportunity to interview seniors as they approach graduation. On my checklist, I invite comments and suggestions that would help me improve my performance as an instructor (I try not to let this take the entire time). I take note of the student´s post-graduate plans (faculty members and departments are interested in the progress of their graduates — letters, phone calls, and return visits, even years after graduation, are appreciated), and I put in my “two bits worth” regarding the student´s continued professional growth.
