Abstract :
Previously we discussed the representation and evaluation of polynomials and rational functions in a structured language such as C. Along with an introduction to representing complex numbers and doing complex arithmetic, we have gathered enough basic tools to do some useful work. Two activities that occur often in the analysis or design of instrumentation-electronic, mechanical, or otherwise-are (1) evaluating system response, and (2) performing passband transformations. We will discuss some basics and treat some examples
