Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a general approach for finding periodic trajectories in piecewise-linear maps. The procedure is based on the decomposition of the initial state via the eigenvectors of their Jacobian and it is applied to digital filters with two´s complement overflow and ΣΔ modulators
