Abstract
The effect of pointing errors on the performance of the directional constrained adaptive array using symmetric amplitude control can be reduced by correcting the zeros of the array polynomial. The effect can be further reduced by adding an extra pair of zeros to the array polynomial. Examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of these methods.
