Abstract
In the literature several kinds of formulations based on volume integral equations have been proposed for the magnetostatic and the eddy current problem. The influence of the choice of discrete spaces on integral equation formulations for low frequency electromagnetics is studied by comparing two different approaches, where one employs standard finite element spaces and the other is based on constructing equivalent electric networks
