Abstract
VMSW (variable magnetization and Stoner Wohlfarth model) method is effective for numerical analysis of anisotropic permanent magnets. This method however, has a serious restriction of the way of dividing elements. Therefore, the conventional VMSW method cannot be applied to the analysis of materials of complicated shape. In this paper, an improved VMSW method is presented. The problem of dividing elements can be solved by using this method
