1964 IEEE International Convention draws an attendance of 66 021 engineers and scientists The 1964 IEEE International Convention closed on March 26 with a total attendance figure of 66 021. The Convention this year encompassed the full scope of IEEE technical activities for the first time and featured a 20 per cent increase in the number of technical papers and about the same increase in number of exhibitors. It was also the first time that the New York Hilton was used as the Convention hotel.
