Abstract :
I´m new here. Chances are you´re fairly new here, too. I´ve been around engineering schools and IEEE for a while, but I´m new to this job of SAC Chairman. You´ve probably been in school most of your life, but in IEEE for a relatively short time. So what are we doing here, you and I, spending our time and energy in this professional society? Why bother? What´s in it for us?
