    Agreat deal of interest has recently been generated about a new integrated circuit (IC) design methodology called silicon compilation. Silicon compilation allows IC designers and system experts to quickly develop sure-fire, sophisticated, application-specific ICs with silicon efficiencies approaching those of handcrafted ICs.
