Abstract
Fiber optics, a communications medium in which light signals are transmitted through a fiber of ultra-pure glass. Looking into the soul of this medium, we also find the artistic side of technology. The photography shown on this page and the following two pages is from a traveling exhibition entitled “MicroScapes: The Hidden Art of High Technology.”
