Abstract :
The author proposes a variable parameter cubic interpolator which extends design freedom and it is found that the implementation of the interpolator is quite simple when the parameter α=1. Based on the above, a high performance interpolator with simple implementation is designed and applied on an all-digital receiver in a 16 QAM system. The performance is evaluated in terms of bit error rate
