  • Abstract
A high repetition-rate circuit that combines a magnetic pulse compression (MPC) system and a spark gap is described. The novel feature of incorporating an MPC system and a spark gap together eliminates the bulky magnetizing subsystem of the magnetic switch and reduces the spark gap loss, thus improving the repetition-rate frequency. The preliminary test result of this circuit is presented.
