Abstract :
In this work, we develop high resolution measurement systems for periodic signals. In order to overcome the limits of low-cost ADCs, we use low-cost DACs to enhance the measurement range and use a feedback of the predicted next sample. However, the exact value of the analog feedback is not known. We introduce a carrier modulation that allows to determine the exact thresholds of the analog to digital converter, thus enabling high accuracy measurements
