Abstract :
We propose a design for an active antenna array employing 2D triangular Josephson junction (JJ) arrays as oscillators. The oscillators are kept in sync by coupling their flux trains to that of a serpentine discrete JJ transmission line. Adding external magnetic flux to the line between adjacent oscillators induces a phase shift in their rf voltages enabling beam steering.
