Abstract :
This work presents an analysis of a narrowband active noise control (ANC) system using the filtered-X least mean-square (LMS) algorithm. The origin and characteristics of asymmetric out-of-band overshoot are investigated. A perturbation technique is used to quantify the pole displacements of the system transfer function due to the secondary path delay
