Abstract :
Wavelength interchange between two wavelength-division-multiplexed optical signals based on four-wave mixing (FWM) has been proposed and successfully demonstrated with an optical parametric loop mirror which can separate the generated FWM waves from the input signal and pump waves without optical filtering
