Abstract :
A new digital nonlinearity calibration and correction technique is proposed for multi-bit DACs in ΔΣ and incremental modulators. By finding the differences between capacitance errors using the ΔΣ modulator, the integral nonlinearity of the DAC can be found, and corrected digitally.
