Abstract :
Writing a résumé may be one of the most difficult things you will ever do. Accordingly, says the author, it is extremely important that you write it. A distinction is made between a chronological and a functional résumé and advice is offered on when to use which. Once the résumé is ready, you should practice your interviewing skills by rehearsing as much as possible. Tips to remember at the interview include (1) learn to listen, (2) dress appropriately, (3) don´t talk money, (3) don´t smoke, (4) don´t flatter, and (5) follow up with thank-you notes to everyone who helped you in your search.
