Abstract :
A method for simulating phase-noise in autonomous circuits is described. It employs the sensitivity functions of the oscillation period with respect to state functions and is based on an extension of the conventional harmonic-balance method for multitone analysis. It improves the largely adopted approach based on linear periodic time varying models of autonomous circuits
