Abstract :
Robert B. Forest, writer, editor, marketing communications consultant, and public relations executive, who, as editor of Datamation from 1963 to 1974, established it as the best of all commercial computer magazines throughout that Golden Decade of computing, died suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home in Escondido, Calif., on Mar. 21, 1996. He was 70. A professional biography is presented.
