Abstract :
A new design and realisation of high performance micromachined millimetre wave circuits on silicon is presented. Combining the excellent electrical performance of micromachined structures and whispering gallery mode properties, an original micromachined dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) has been realised which operates in the 35 GHz region.
