  • Abstract
    When 50–60 Hz ac electricity flows across an air gap outside its intended boundary of metal conductors, the current arcs. The visibility, magnitude, and energy forms of the arcing electricity depend on this scenario. So that we can be alert to arcing risks, arc-hazard rating and labeling standards have been developed.
