Abstract :
Phase transitions of the first sort in aluminum metallization when passing through it single rectangular impulses of current with an amplitude up to 8.1010 A/m2 and lasting 100-1000 μs are considered. Processes of formation of the local melted-off zones, and also their subsequent migration in the course of current course are experimentally studied. The main mechanisms of movement of interphase border (at the expense of a thermal emission on limit of the section of firm and liquid phases) in the conditions of non-stationary heating of a metal film are revealed. Speeds of distribution of a liquid phase along a metallization path (~ 25 m/s) are experimentally determined, and also the technique, allowing to count length of the melted-off zone after impulse passing is offered. Work is performed with support of grants of the Russian Fond Basic Research No 12-07-00620-a and No 14-07-0086914-a, as project No 2014/85 (a project code 2290).
