Abstract :
A new adaptation algorithm for adaptive filters is proposed, introducing “adaptive threshold” in the nonlinear correlation function. The adaptive threshold controlled by the long-term average of the error signal power makes the filtering system highly robust against impulse noise, which is demonstrated by the results of simulation and theoretical calculation
