Abstract
The transition radiation of charged particle moving in a waveguide with anisotropic magneto dielectric medium is considered. It is assumed that the charged particle moves with constant velocity perpendicular to the axis of a waveguide. The wave equation and the analytical expressions for the transverse-magnetic (TM) filed are obtained. The energy of transition radiation of moving charged particle is calculated. The conditions for the appearance of the Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation are found.
