Abstract :
A new baseband processing technique which allows existing quadrature modulators to achieve near ideal RF upconversion over wide bandwidth is suggested. A test setup using an arbitrary waveform generator and a spectrum analyser shows that more than 70 dB spurious free range may be obtained using an 895 MHz mini-circuits IQ modulator
