Abstract :
The paper demonstrates the possibility of designing pattern reconfigurable quasi-Yagi antenna. Adjusting the length of dipole arms and delay line, the E-plane radiation direction is steered from -20° to +20°, in 5° steps, without compromising the realized radiation gain or shifting the operating spectrum as high as 60 GHz band. In this work, nine individual Yagi antennas with different beam directions are designed. They all have bands centered at 60 GHz, with wide bandwidths covered from 55 GHz to 65 GHz.
