Abstract :
The slewing behaviour of class AB opamps is different from that of class A opamps and thus different speed optimisation techniques are required. Computer simulations show that to enhance the speed of class AB opamps, the doublet should be located but in the vicinity of the unity-gain bandwidth as opposed to the common practice of locating the doublet as far as possible from it.
