Abstract :
A novel and simple half ring monopole antenna is presented here. The proposed antenna has been fed by a microstrip line to provide bandwidth supporting ultra wideband (UWB) characteristics. While decreasing the physical size of the antenna, the parameters that affect the performance of the antenna have been investigated here.
