  • Abstract
    A two-mode, elliptical-core fibre sensor employed in a Fabry-Perot configuration is shown to be useful for simultaneous measurement of strain and temperature. Experimental results are presented and sensitivity of the system to inaccuracies in measurements is evaluated.
