Abstract :
A CMOS current-to-voltage converter with exponential characteristics is presented. The exponential behaviour is achieved using a pseudo-exponential function and is implemented with two back-to-back connected current mirrors. The circuit used is in the design of a compact low-voltage low-power automatic gain control circuit (AGC) with a control range of ~30 dB
