  • Abstract
This article presents a flexible, extendable system called Tracktivity that can capture gameplay metrics in any type of leaderboard-based video game. This system incorporates novel visualizations, including a dynamic competition balancing (DCB) measure and driver progression, to enhance the resulting gameplay experience. This article also presents use cases of the system and the techniques used to visualize and study the data gathered.
