  • Abstract
Breakdown in a low-pressure glow plasma depends on the well-known Paschen relationship among electrode potential, pressure, and electrode gap spacing. This paper explores the educational aspects of students harmonizing a well-established theoretical framework with the realities of their vessel and their electrode configurations. Students were also introduced to the idea of modeling and fitting data to a model.
