Roy S. Smith [People in Control]

In this issue of IEEE Control Systems Magazine, we speak with Roy S. Smith, who is a professor in the Automatic Control Laboratory, Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich). He was formerly a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a consultant for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. He has coedited two books and written over 100 journal and conference papers and is a Fellow of the IEEE.
