Abstract :
In this issue of IEEE Control Systems Magazine, we speak with Venkataramanan (Ragu) Balakrishnan, who is a professor and head of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. He has coauthored one book (Linear Matrix Inequalities in System and Control Theory, SIAM, 1994) and has written approximately 150 journal and conference papers. Prof. Balakrishnan is a Fellow of the IEEE.
