Abstract :
This paper presents a rigorous millimeter-wave spectral domain approach for an efficient analysis of asymmetric coupled microstrip-type structures on anisotropic multilayered substrates. A suitable choice of basis functions with metallic edge effects is proposed via the Galerkin´s procedure. This technique leads to faster and accurate characterization with simulated results successfully compared with published data.
